Orders & delivery

How long does delivery take?

Free UK delivery on every order. Most orders are processed within 1–2 business days and arrive in 6–10 business days. We'll send you a tracking link as soon as your parcel leaves the warehouse.

Do you ship outside the UK?

Not yet. Luma & Home is focused on the UK market for 2026. EU and Nordic shipping is planned for later this year — sign up to the newsletter at the bottom of the page to be notified.

Are import duties and VAT included in the price?

Yes. All prices on lumaandhome.co.uk include UK VAT and import duties. We ship under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms — so there are no surprise charges from the courier at your door.

How do I track my order?

You'll receive a tracking email when your order ships. You can also visit our tracking page and enter your order number and email to see the latest status.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Email us within 1 hour of placing the order at support@lumaandhome.co.uk and we'll do our best to amend or cancel it before it ships. Once it's left the warehouse, you'll need to use our standard returns process.

Returns & refunds

What is your returns policy?

You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the day you receive your order to change your mind, plus a 30-day short-term right to reject under UK consumer law. See the full refund policy for details.

Who pays for return shipping?

For change of mind: you cover the return postage. For faulty, damaged or wrong items: we cover it — email a photo to support@lumaandhome.co.uk and we'll send a prepaid label.

How long do refunds take?

We process refunds within 14 days of receiving the returned item. Once processed, the money lands back on your original payment method in 3–5 business days.

What if a product arrives broken?

It happens to about 1 in 800 orders. Email a photo to support@lumaandhome.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery and we'll send a replacement the same day. You don't need to return the broken item — just dispose of it safely.

Products & materials

What materials are your products made of?

Mostly borosilicate glass, FSC-certified bamboo, food-grade silicone, and stone composite. Everything is lead-free, BPA-free and phthalate-free. We list the exact materials on each product page under "Features".

Are your jars dishwasher-safe?

Glass and silicone components are dishwasher-safe on the top rack. Bamboo lids should be hand-washed and dried upright — putting them in the dishwasher will dry the wood out and shorten their life.

Where are your products made?

Mostly in small family-run factories in Portugal that we've worked with since 2023. Some accessories (labels, markers) are made in the UK. We list the country of origin on each product page.

Payment & security

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. All payments are processed via Shopify's PCI-DSS Level 1 certified checkout — we never see or store your card details. See our privacy policy for full details.
